Cleaned her up all nice for cars and coffee tomorrow!

She was covered in pollen and stuff but all better now. This is the most I’ve ever done myself, interior d ust/vacuum/clean/treat. Exterior wash, wax, tire gel, and black plastic treated. Not a full attention detail but damn!

I could have used without learning how many scratches and chips are actually on it lol but it’s a track car now after my memorial day weekend at Thompson.

Looks good, do you feel rewarded for doing it? Seeing how well she came up!

That’s the downside, you get to know every scratch, scuff and ding. The majority I can get out, of the remainder some I can tidy up, the rest sit and haunt me.

Oh yeah it feels great! I often get bored or just annoyed as such things take longer than 10 minutes, but I didn't feel that until I was almost done 3 hours later. Same for house work I've been doing since I moved in. Something in me has made the satisfaction worth more than just finishing up go relax. I might be becoming an adult...

Nah, I’m 39 and I still get to a point and go, ‘I wish this was over with, but I’ll turn my attention to another part of the car or grab a beer or cola, have a few sips and get back to it.

When it’s your o wn you think, ‘I can do this bit another day' and need to push yourself more than if it was someone else's car.
